Choosing An Introduction Agency

Author: The Thai Connection

If you're thinking about using an introduction agency to find your perfect partner, then follow these simple steps to make sure that you pick the right agency for you:

1. Who does the agency represent?

There are hundreds of different dating agencies. Some are focused on a geographic area, some on a particular interest, and some on particular age range. Think about what you're looking for in a relationship and search for those agencies that can provide you with a good match.

2. How does the process work?

Find out how the agency's process works. Do you just fill in a form that sets out your requirements, or do you need to go for a personal interview that lets the agency find out more about what you're looking for? How soon do you get to meet the people they match you with and do you have to follow any particular rules or is the relationship up to you once the initial introduction is made? All these factors are important when you're deciding what's important to you.

3. Where do the introductions take place?

It's best for introductions to take place on neutral ground, and many agencies make arrangements for you to come to their own offices to meet your prospective partners for the first time. In some cases, introductions may be made at a hotel, or the agency may hire a bar for the evening, to make introductions more informal. Ask the agencies you are talking to about this, because it's important that you feel comfortable with the location.

4. What are the payment arrangements?

Agencies take a payment for the service they offer, but the amount and timing of the payment varies from company to company. You may be asked to pay a registration fee, or the agency may want between 50% and 100% of the payment up front. Make sure you are clear about the prices and the payments before you commit to anything.

Take the time to find out as much as you can about any introductions agency you are thinking of usingit will pay off in the long-term.
