There is a purported falsehood in the Old Testament one, which clearly goes against our perceived rights in Western Culture and is of detriment to our way of life. Whoever wrote it is in error and someone ought to re-write the statement, make sure it is not used out of context, the quote in this literary work says:

My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways, saith the lord.

Well I hate to break it to the gent, but that is simply not going to fly in the modern age or present period. My thoughts are; Well this is very nice of that fictitious fellow for violating my copyrights and patents, for which I feed my family. Additionally it seems to indicate that an individual's mind is not their own, violating my perceived rights and personal freedom of thought in my understanding of those rights. If one chooses to share thoughts, as I often do then that is a choice.

I therefore dismiss that passage as trickery by those who have placed within that literary work or human society operations manual, or whatever its intended use at the time it was written happened to be. Now then some would say that there are things despite the intelligence of man, our technological advances and pride that we cannot control. Yet when and if a man places such limits upon his mind, he is right. When a man commits himself to a fatalistic notion and concedes to limits, he will live within those limits and desperately so.

Other believe that although there are things which we can control, we must be reasonable and go with the flow on those things we cant control and that such would be a reasonable way to live ones life. This argument is valid Indeed, yet sometimes what is unreasonable may in fact be the concept that changes the world for the greater good of all, which should also never be overly discounted as even an unreasonable thought can lead one to come up with a mult-disciplinarian solution which may or may not be the best for all concerned; yet must be explored, without prejudice.

It is unhealthy to read from a book, which limits ones mind in such a way and tragic indeed if one is to believe each word of it, in its absolute. Therefore unless such literary work is re-written it serves no man and therefore should be shelved without further ado. Think on it thumper.
